About Abbey Environmental Services

Abbey Contracting Limited was incorporated in December 2000 with Steve Rawlings as the sole director. Turnover has steadily increased reaching £500,000 to end March 08. Profits, which have been sound, have been reinvested to form a solid foundation which will enable the company to achieve its full potential going forward. In September of 2008, with turnover heading for over £1m in the financial year, we changed our name to Abbey Environmental Services to take into account the anticipated growth in our customer base and products and services offering.

Our work and effort to increase our understanding of the nature of asbestos removal since our formation has given us a clear view of what our health and safety and environmental policies, in particular, must be. By putting health and safety at the heart of the business we have gained an understanding of what our responsibilities must be and the requirements of our customers and their end users.

We currently operate within a 100 mile radius of our Glastonbury base, but have ambitious aims of expanding and becoming one of the premier asbestos removal companies in the UK by 2014.

Our priority will remain hazard reduction, whilst health and safety remains the absolute priority for our workforce. It is our greatest achievement that we have an impeccable health and safety record and that there have never been any prohibitions or prosecutions issued against the company.
